I've often been interested in crafting and drawing as a kid. But I've never pursued it. Then, I took the science path and it seemed like art and me would never cross paths...

Till...

Now.

I'm a biologist, and 'Thinker' through and through. But a remark by my ex-boss made me furious. I wanted to start dabbling in art again.

"We're all science people, we don't know art. Right? Do any of you play musical instruments?"

Well, that was the rough gist of her statement. A statement full of gross assumptions. For one, being a scientist does not automatically eliminate you from the set of people who are 'good at arts'. Leonardo Da Vinci was a notable example, and I'm sure there are many, many more people who enjoy both the science and the arts.

So this is a challenge for myself, to prove that science and art DO mix.
